Use AgPal

AgPal is a web-based discovery tool developed by Agriculture and Agri-food Canada (AAFC) to help producers and others in the agriculture and agri-business sector find the federal, provincial and territorial programs and services that specifically apply to them.

AgPal was designed to put all of that information at your fingertips; they want to become the one-stop shop for Canadian farmers and agri-businesses looking for information about government resources, programs and services.

AgPal links you directly to all of Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, Farm Credit Canada, and Nova Scotia's programs and services, as well as those of Ontario's Growing Forward program.

Participating in AgPal

If your organization provides services to agricultural clients in Canada, we would like to talk to you about including your information in AgPal. We offer a variety of participation options for governments, associations, educational institutions, non-profit and community-based organizations.

To learn more, contact Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at AgPal-AgriGuichet@agr.gc.ca and one of their officers will get in touch with you.. Use AgPal

The Sturgeon County Bounty and Sturgeon County Trail directories are now available on Android with Apple versions coming soon!

The Apple version will be coming soon for download on Apple's iPhone and iPad.

The app highlights both the Sturgeon County Bounty members and Sturgeon County Trail tourism operators. The app features map locations of businesses throughout the Sturgeon Region as well as events and activities throughout the year. Planning a visit to Sturgeon or finding local producers or restaurants supporting Sturgeon producers has become a whole lot easier.

Start in Sturgeon and Sturgeon County Bounty websites get facelifts.
Usability and an even more interactive site attempts to continue to provide economic development news, data, directories and interactivity.

After the release of the Start in Sturgeon brand and website last February the "Version 2" continues to address better usability and information to visitors. Economic sector profiles, currently under development, and easier to find information based on user needs is the goal of the V2 website.

The site will be combining old and new pages during the transition throughout January and February 2012 as the content transitions from V1 to V2.

The Sturgeon County Bounty website also reflects the new Start in Sturgeon look and usability.

If you would like to provide comments on the new site let us know via email.
